If you put 23 random people in a room together, there is a greater than 50% chance that two of them will have the same birthday. It seems incredible, but the math works out. And I love that we live in a world where you can find the explanation on Wikipedia.
The dictionary defines �harbinger” as �one that presages or foreshadows what is to come.” As an exercise, look around your world today and see if you can find something that is a harbinger, something that indicates what is to come.
Is it cold outside? You might want to pick up a nice sweatshirt.
I was just thinking to myself, you know what would really make my day a lot better? If the sun went down at 5:10. After all, who needs all those hours of daylight, and that sunshine, and that warmth on the drive home from work. I much prefer the biting cold (well, relatively speaking of course…it�s a bone-chilling 67° right now), the encroaching darkness, the mass of headlights like so many raccoons scrambling back to their holes, teeth bared, ready to claw and scratch and bite any other vermin who would get in their way.
You�ll be hearing things like this from me for the next six months. Get used to it.
Watch this movie, but be prepared…your brain will not believe what your eyes are seeing. I‘ve watched it about ten times, and I am only now starting to grasp what is happening. You really have to try it yourself to understand.
