Okay, you need to check out this game called Grow. I would recommend just going and trying it out by yourself, but I’ll put a little explanation below in case you need it.
As far as I can tell, there are interactions between the various parts that you add to the world. These interactions affect how the various parts evolve, and thus affect your final score. For example, if you add the Pipe and the Mountains, then bubbles will come out of the Pipe and form clouds over the Mountains, which will eventually form a lake. But if you add the Propellor first, then it will blow away the bubbles, and the Mountains will eventually turn into a volcano, which I presume is worth fewer points. I haven’t played around with it much, but it is definitely interesting. Let me know if you enjoy it as much as I do.
Chris Monk sent me a link to this cool Lego Spider-Man movie. Someone has too much time on their hands, although I’m not sure if it’s the people who made it, or people like me who sit and watch it.

The resemblance is uncanny, isn’t it?
One of my coworkers has these really amazing drawings on his wall, so I asked where they came from. It turns out that his 21-year-old brother does them, and he has a website called MonkeySpin where he shows examples of his work.
Now, if youll excuse me, Im off to shoot myself in the head.
Well here I was thinking I was all cutting-edge, and I suddenly find out that my friend Mike has a journal of his own! Of course, his observations aren’t going to be as indispensable as mine (honestly, why would you want to read about Mike’s trip to the movies, when you could be reading about my trip to the movies?), but it’s a good way to pass the time if you want to read about conservative thought and changing flat tires.
