No sooner did we start a discussion on price comparisons between Macs and equivalent PCs, then someone comes along with an article stating that the equivalent Dell laptop is $1000 cheaper than the MacBook Pro. Of course, someone on the Mac side did a more detailed comparison, and found that the MacBook Pro is actually very price-competitive. Then the next day, when Apple announces that they will be shipping machines with better performance than previously expected, he updated the comparison. All are interesting reads.
