The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien

For years, I’ve been saying that Conan O’Brien is funnier than Jay Leno, and my belief has finally been vindicated. In a bold move, NBC has announced that Conan O’Brien will be replacing Jay Leno as the host of The Tonight Show when Leno’s contract expires. However, you may not want to set the TiVo just yet…Leno’s new contract extends his tenure as host for another five years, meaning that Conan will take over hosting duties sometime in 2009. As far as I’m concerned, it can’t happen soon enough.
